Last May was a very productive month. I joined a photography workshop with Tyler Stableford, got a certificate for a distance learning course on Creative Thinking by PPM Manajamen, got my service passport done, joined a Focus Group Discussion on making a Dream Book, applied an account on Citibank (which was a funny experience!), visited Lampung for a friend's wedding, joined an LPEM UI training for estimating Non Tax Revenue, and met Casey Nolen Jackson (a super nice writing advisor) at Education USA Indonesia. Even this May included a long weekend, I thought I did not waste many time doing nothing.
I have shared the stories on applying a saving account to Citibank and joining workshop on photography in this blog.
Having relatively 'free time' for a week by joining an LPEM UI training, I was so grateful. 'Free time' in my dictionary is that I can back home at 5 PM and have my Maghrib prayer at home. In my normal office hour, they are almost impossible. Twice or thrice, I thought that my office hour (7.30 AM to 5 PM de jure, or 7 PM de facto) is inhuman. And able to leave all the stressfulness early really make me believe that it is not just a thought. It is (inhuman)! Ha ha ha.... But I definitely feel alive when I can take a shower, then have a prayer, read Quran for one 'ain or a couple pages of book, call parents or friends, create a post, and go to bed at 9 PM, and have a tight sleep. Subhanallah!
16 May 2012. One day before having a long weekend (17 - 20 May), my schedule was so tight. I had to formulate a new report for the Transfer to Region budget in the morning. After lunch, I went to PPSDM dormitory in Jurangmangu, Tangerang Selatan to take my service passport. Pak Sukurdi, an official of BPPK, who responsible for the passport was on his duty in the dorm. A bit doubt with the new Commuter Line's schedule, I just let by gone be bygone. When I had just arrived at Tanah Abang station, it was raining hard. Alhamdulillah. Thankfully, when I reached Pondok Randji station (my destination), the rain had stop. Super alhamdulillah!
I went back to Jakarta at 4.30 PM, and went straight away to PPM Manajemen. I had an appointment to take my certificate that day. I was afraid if the person in charge had left his office. In fact, the person in charge was waiting for me. Thank to 'Bapak PPM Manajemen'. I forgot asking his name. My bad!
Doing this and that, going here and there, was a nice day in fact!
